Getting all Your Paperwork Taken Care of
It seems like everything we do these days is available online, with filling out a form by hand almost seeming archaic. So we think it should be no different for our testing, reporting and submitting the right documents to councils!
We use a brilliant software tool called Tradehack to help us electronically capture testing data on your commercial plumbing’s Backflow and TMV devices. This brilliant software then automatically pre-fills this information in the right format so that we can instantly submit form 9s & TMV tests, in real time to relevant council Tradehack uses GPS to log the location of your devices and we are able to load photos and notes about the devices too! We’ve eliminated extra processing between our plumbing and admin teams.
All of our backflow testing team are kitted out with this software, saving you time and money.
For you, this means that you’ll have your on-site testing completed sooner, and as soon as it’s complete, your council paperwork is submitted, (as per legislative requirement) you’re automatically notified and our admin team is also alerted so they can process the account quickly for you.
This software can automatically notify you each year when you’re devices are due to be re-tested, so you’ll always be compliant without having to worry about keeping track of dates.

While TradeHack keeps track of all our testing needs, we use another system that takes care of literally everything else.
We use the web-based software, Fergus, to schedule, invoice, quote and talk to each other when we’re on the road between jobs. This is how we can efficiently and accurately run every aspect of our business – in the field and in our office.
What this means for you is that we can schedule a visit immediately as we have full visibility over the availability of our plumbers. We can take photos of your site and store them in your job folder on the software so if a different plumber on our team needs to come back, they can become familiar with the site before they arrive. With 24 hour availability and mobile compatibility, it means that even for after-hours work we’ve got full visibility over what else we’ve worked on for your site and can add to it so that your profile is always up to date.
Each of these features means that we’re always completely across your projects. This is how we get things right – because we can review exactly what’s already happened, even if it was a week, month or year ago!
